| 4:58 pm | I can't see how people can be so upbeat about having to change rooms... Ironic because I'm sort of able to see the good in all this. All I know is I'm living with a guy from theater named Ryan Evans so I can only hope he's cool about living with a music major. Especially since I sing around the room, worked my way through a They Might Be Giants mix cd a friend from home sent me, I love "I Never Go To Work" now since the song is just really cute! But it was a huge PITA to just pack up and then just unpack, add a pair of guitars and amps to that in my case of course. But I'm just going to try and stay upbeat about this, Ryan may actually be a cool guy. Jono: Not sure if you're still looking for singers but I would love to lend a hand if you are. I also got a gig this weekend! One of the coffee shops asked me to be one of the musicians that play on weekends and I had to say yes, I just miss performing. But I'm one of several performers and will mostly play afternoons since I'm just 18. Ryan: How do you feel about guitar players? I only hope you and I will get along of course :) |

| 1:03 am | Since the power came back on I found myself watching cheesy 80's game shows since I arrived too late to spring term classes. The idea of people yelling "No Whammys!" just cracks me up to no end. I mean people who make these shows should get some new ideas of redoing the classics since the new Press Your Luck is pretty funny and the idea of a game show take on Bingo just cracks me up. Guess I should add the basics so Hi! I'm Addie Singer and I just got into town pre storm madness from out in Califorina. My major is a music/business double since I figured I can always take matters into my own hands if needed. I'm also a musician and play the occasional show in the area, mostly since I can't play the clubs just yet. But that's ok by me! There's a time for everything after all. So that should also explain the guitar case and tons of cd's in my part of the suite. On the home away from home front I'm in Tudor 201 with Rory, Bridget and Lena. Still need to meet them but things have been crazy with the weather after all. But I've been doing my share of people watching and I think things are only going to get crazy in the fun sense! Anyone know of a good music shop? I broke my guitar sting and well I can always use a few spares. Till next time! |
